About us?........Well, this has become the million dollar question! So here we go….. I am a purebred country girl that has traveled and lived the ways of the wild west from the ranching communities back to my Midwest farming community upbringing. My adventures and lifestyle has sparked many a conversations of curiosity, awe, and are you crazy stories! From brandings to the ranch initiation of eating calf testicles and cattle drives, my adventures became the stories I had only read about in western novels. While reminiscing one summer night after having moved home from Wyoming sitting with an old friend, a case of beer in a camaro under the stars, we talked about all the wild fun times that are had on the roads leading west. After many long trips to and from Wyoming I began thinking up all aspect of the life out there that I loved. I told my friend that night of my idea and by five in the morning the Testicle Festival had a foundation. I have lived my wild west dreams and thought it would be fun to combine all of my crazy experiences throughout my travels in my twenties into one great big party, while bringing a few friends I have met along the way!
Whether you are a diehard country fan, country rock, or old school country this is the event for you! I guarantee you will experience a little of everything. These bands are the true country-cowboy music. They are the kind of country that you will hear behind the chutes of every rodeo. Blasting through the speakers of any true blue country boy or girl flying down some long lost dirt road, or maybe you’re a cowpoke at heart day dreaming in traffic stuck in some metropolis, wishing they were on the open range! Because life doesn’t allow everyone to have a home on the range I wanted to bring a piece of that raw heaven back. For every person who has ever had that out of reach wish pushed to the bottom of their bucket list, this festival is for you. It’s not just a party but, an experience flavored with all aspects of being a true country person.
This event is not mainstream country, it is real country with real singing cowboys and country boys. The kind that could rope a calf, ride a bull, or plow a field and still sit down with a guitar and sing you a song, or bring down the house at some two step’n honky tonk! Therefore you can always expect the unexpected, so come with your hat pulled down tight because we love our country, live unruly, and tear up those dirt roads because everyone around here including the lord knows crazy has nothing on us!!
